SAMPLE LESSON
Take A Look Inside The Course
Here's a full sample lesson where we do a little exercise to envision our orchestral tracks before composing them. We'll learn about foreground-background separation and practice how we can turn a rough, abstract image in our mind into a real orchestral piece.
Assignment
Now it's your turn:
- Do the visualization exercise: Come up with a scene in your mind that inspires you and describe what foreground subject and background elements you see. Write down thoughts on how you could match this atmosphere with music (tempo, instruments, rhythm, motifs, chords).
- Come up with a motif that matches your scene and turn it into a simple melody.
This is what aspiring composers say about the course
Rene G.
Couldn't find an entry into the composing world before.
"I've been struggling with how to combine long and short notes in melodies for 1 or 2 years now, and you just casually drop it in the video. For that alone, the course is already worth it."
