✍️ Make A Mockup! is a composer game where the 🕹️Players listen to a 🎵 Soundtrack and try to recreate it as closely as they can.
This game helps you get better at noticing small details in music, understanding how music is put together, and use your DAW & sample libraries.

🎧 Phase 1: Cue Announcement
- Our team shares a 🎵 Soundtrack from a movie or video game.
- Sign up and you'll get directions from our "developer" in your DMs.
- No need to be a pro—everyone's welcome to join!
🎮 Phase 2: Instructions
- All 🕹️ Players start recreating the music from the same starting point.
- You can mock up as much of the music as you like, but start from the same place as everyone else.
- Try to make your version sound as close to the original as possible.
- Here's an example of a mockup: 🎵Original vs. ✍️Mockup.
- Important: It's okay if your version isn't perfect. This game is about learning and getting better, not about being perfect.
🔍 Phase 3: Submission
- Upload your ✍️Mockup.
- You can also write a little about how you made your version and what sample libraries you used.
💬 Phase 4: Feedback and Discussion
- Listen to each other’s ✍️Mockups.
- Discuss how you made your version, exchange tips, and give helpful feedback.
- You can suggest music for the next game and talk about how to get better at creating mockups.
- We'll vote on which mockup sounds most like the original. Just for fun and to build our community.
